The OCEANS team offers a diverse array of technical knowledge, skills and experience from recognized experts from pure-science research and development to operations leaders. OCEANS personnel have been deployed as Program Managers, Chief Systems Engineers, Senior Operational Technical Leads, and Operational Science Advisors across multiple projects. In these roles, OCEANS supports the strategic vision and R&D strategies essential to implementing cutting edge information sharing across disparate domains.

Daniel Brent
Chief Executive Officer
Daniel Brent began his maritime security career with his enlistment in the U.S. Navy, working up to a Combat Systems Coordinator and was a plank owner for the Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Work Group. Later, he joined SRI International serving as sensor, training and hardware lead for the National Center for Maritime and Port Security. He received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, graduating summa cum laude from Grantham University.
Paul Morrisseau
President
Paul Morrisseau is an ocean and systems engineer having received both bachelor's and master's degrees from Florida Atlantic University. He is the Chief Systems Engineer for DHS S&T Borders and Maritime Security Division helping to guide the development of DHS-wide enterprise architecture implementation and agile integration of capability to exponentially increase operational efficiency and effectiveness across DHS components.
Gerald Bowe
Senior DHS Advisor
Gerald "Gerry" Bowe, Captain, USCG (retired) is supporting the Department of Homeland Security, Science and Technology Directorate, Borders and Maritime Division, Maritime Technology Program. He is the Operations Manager for the Maritime Technology Program.
